The secretary presented a report
of the recent activities of the or-
ganization and of correspondence
carried on with various affiliated
and unaffiliated organizations. A
communication was presented from
the American Jewish Committee .
and other organizations which had
called a conference for July 16th,
to consider the question of Jewish
rights and of the holding of a Con-
gress. After a lengthy discussion
in which most of the members took
part, the following resolutions were
adopted:
"That the invitation of the
American Jewish Committee and
other organizations to this body to
attend a conference to he held at
the I lotel Astor on July 16th be de-
clined.
"That it is the sense of this meet-
ing that no organization affiliated
with the Congress Organization be
officially represented at the said
conference.
"That it is the sense of this body
that we regret the action of any or-
ganizations that have already voted
