troit on Monday to assist in the
initiation of a large number of new
members in the local Order.

Rabbi Leo M. Franklin was in
Ann Arbor on Sunday of this week,
where he attended a special meet-
ing of the Executive Committee of
the Jewish Student Congregation.

Dr. Emli Mayer, one of New
York's most prominent physicians,
was among the delegates to the
American Medical Convention' held
in Detroit last week.

Dr. jos. Abt of Chicago spent a
week in Detroit recently.

Miss Eisenberg of Kalamazoo,
who has been spending several
weeks with her grandmother, Mrs.
Hannah Goldberg, returned to her
home on Sunday.
