niticent building now Occupied by
the congregation, by the giVing
of informal (lances, plays, partici-
pation in bazaars, solicitation di-
rectly of funds from those able
to contribute, and otherwise.
So much has the Congregation
appreciated the efforts of their
Young people that a substantial
representation of the Executive
Board of the Congregation is
composed of the following: Louis
Cohn, Joseph II. Ehrlich, Jacob
Nathan,. a departure not alone
from the general custom of the
institution 'but from that of Con-
servative Jewry as well.
The chief accomplishment of
this organization may properly
be designated as the bridging of
the gap between the old genera-
tion and the new ; bringing the
young people, within the walls - of
the Synagogue, and once there,
enabling them to learn the les-
sons of the actual work of the
Congregation, the beauty and sig-
nificance of the ceremonials of
Conservative Judaism, the appeal
of our noble faith and the call of
work for it throughout the world ;
and enabling, in turn, the old to
understand the young so that
with understanding may conic ap-
preciation, and with appreciation
may come united effort in what
Congregation Shaarey Zedek is
doing in its humble way to
forward the cause of Conserva-
tive Judaism. •
The officers of the Young Peo-
ple's Auxiliary are Abram Sa-
piro, president ; Harold I I. 'Still-
lansky, vice-president ; I lathe
Gittleman, secretary ; Miss Kei-
dan, treasurer ; and the, executive
board, consisting of Abram Sa-
piro, Harold H. Smilinisky,- Jacob
Nathan, Louis Cohn and 'Harry
B. Keidan.

BED BUG DOOM is a liquid, not
explosive, does not stain or lose its
strength by evaporation like other
liquids. There is no objectionable
feature connected with its use what-
ever, and it does the work, and does
it right.
