ple Beth El presented a most inter-
esting program on londay after-
noon, the occasion being their an-
imal meeting. Mrs. A. Lapin
Cohn and Miss Irene Rosenberg
rendered delightful musical num-
bers, and Rabbi 1.eo M. Franklin
explained the significance of Jew-
ish Ceremonial objects. Election--
of directors took place and a social
hour with refreshments followed.
The following- Detroiters were
registered at New York hotels dur-
ing the past week: Mr. A. J. Gins-
