Sunday Services.
"Overlapping Theologies as Sug-
gested by the Coincidence of Pass-
over and Easter" will be the sub-
ject of Rabbi Franklin's sermon at
the Temple on Sunday morning of
this week. All members of the con-
gregation and their households are
cordially invited to be present. A
special invitation is extended to
strangers and newcomers to the
city to attend all services at the
Temple.

There will be special Passover
services conducted at the Syna-
gogue during the remainder of the
Passover holidays.

The Young Peoples' Society of
the Temple is planning a most elab-
orate meeting for the evening of
Sunday, April 30th. It is hoped
that all young Jewish men and
women not now religiously affili-
ated, will attend this meeting, as it
is especially to extend a hearty
welcome to them that the program*
is planned. All members of the
Young Peoples' Society knowing of
young men and women who are
newcomers to the city are asked to
extend to them a hearty invitation
to be present at this "Welcome to
the Stranger" meeting. Those al-
ready members of the Society are
also urged to be present.

The Woman's Auxiliary Associa-
tion of the Temple has just closed
a most successful season of its sew-
ing work. Many garments have
been made by the women and
turned over to the United Jewish
Charities by whom they have been
greatly appreciated.

The Thursday Afternoon Class
in Jewish Ethics, which has been
conducted by Rabbi Franklin, has
closed its work for the season.

On Sunday morning, April 30th,
Rabbi Max J. Merritt, of Evans-
ville, Ind., Secretary of the Central
Conference of American Rabbis,
will occupy the pulpit of the Tem-
ple. His subject will be "The
Wells of Abraham."

The Confirmation Class of the
Temple, which meets on Monday
afternoons of each week, promises
to be one of the largest in the his-
tory of Temple Beth El. The Con-
firmation will take place this year
on Shabouth, Wednesday, June 7th.
