The Jewish community of De, troit lost one of its most prom- inent members through the death of Mrs. J. I I. Cohn, 183 Winder Street, wife of Rev. J. II. Cohn, and mother of Attorney Louis Cohn. Airs. Cohn, who was 68 years of age, was a resident of Detroit for more than 34-•ears and during these years devoted much of her time working for the betterment of the conditions in the community.
